Safety

B&D Industries’ award-winning safety program plays a significant role in our overall Quality Management Program. Our focus and purpose set three standards: quality, productivity and safety. This three-part focus has gained us a reputation for being a safe, on-time and on-budget contractor, performing quality work. In addition, our employees are highly trained and OSHA certified.

Successful implementation starts in the planning phase where labor requirements and hazards are analyzed. We check our personnel training database to ensure we are staffing the project with the correct individuals.

A formal safety committee with representatives from all divisions and members of our Executive Leadership Team meet to approve policy changes and set program activity goals and objectives. B&D’s Corporate Risk Manager reports to the Executive Leadership Team on program progress and holds them accountable to what B&D has committed to our customers in our written policies.

All subcontractors either follow B&D's Safety Plan or have a safety plan that has been pre-qualified and approved by B&D.
