B&D Industries’ roots are in electrical contracting.  We started in 1955 as B&D Electric and are currently one of the largest employers of electrical tradesman in the state of New Mexico.   Although we serve as a prime and general contractor today, we self perform all phases of electrical construction.  We have the experience and qualifications to complete low, medium and high voltage electrical work. 

Electrical services include:

• Maintenance of electrical components and systems    

We have experience in specialized hi-tech production facilities, microchip processing, clean room facilities, semi-conductors and electric power generation.  B&D helped Sandia National Laboratories develop the first prototype clean room in the early 1970s. Our long association with Sandia Labs has resulted in the construction of many clean rooms and the first micro-electronic laboratory in the world.  

B&D is one of the largest contract holders of on-call electrical services in New Mexico.  We service the City of Albuquerque, various NM DOT regions, Albuquerque Public Schools, Central New Mexico Community College and Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Mexico.  We also hold a state-wide delivery contract with Cooperative Educational Services.
